Dr. Kenneth has co-authored more than 10 peer-reviewed papers in atomic, molecular, and optical physics, focusing on the use of ultracold atoms and molecules to advance quantum computing.

With over a decade of teaching and mentoring experience, Kenneth has worked with students from middle school through college — from organic chemistry and machine learning to his specialties in quantum physics and quantum computing. He believes education is the foundation of discovery, opportunity, and success.

Competition rounds & project development
The same prompt set is used across the participating competitions and the year-end Innovation Challenge. Teams can refine the same solution between competitions instead of starting over each time.

Students develop one ongoing project and can change their chosen topic or question at any time.

Pitch decks: maximum 15 slides, including references and bibliography.

The top 10 in each age category advance to the semifinal; the top 5 advance to the final. Semifinalists have one week after preliminary results to submit their solution.

A shared prompt set supports all 12 competitions and the year-end Innovation Challenge. Each competition has a preliminary quiz, a semifinal using the shared prompts, and a final using the shared prompts. Success in the World STEM League Program isn’t defined by a single result. Students can be recognized in several ways throughout the League Year, rewarding performance, improvement, and persistence.
Mini-League Progression
Move up through performance tiers as you improve. Students compete in 20-person groups with peers of similar ability, and top performers get promoted to higher tiers.
