About The Harvard Crimson

The Summit Experience

Early March, 2026 : Pre-event Zoom Orientation (Exact date and time to be announced)

Learn what to expect: Go over key guidelines and schedules for the conference — including research presentations, quiz bowls, and workshops. Learn what to expect, what to prepare for, and how to make the most of the Summit. This is your chance to ask questions, share ideas, and start the event confident and ready.

The Summit begins with an inspiring keynote that sets the tone for the weekend — full of ideas, motivation, and insights from Harvard faculty.

Engage with Harvard student panels to learn about different academic fields and their Harvard experience.

Track-Specific Faculty Panels

Dive deep into faculty talks. You'll engage directly with faculty, gain insights into their groundbreaking research and how their fields are being used to solve the world's problems.

Networking Session

End the day with a lively networking session where you can meet speakers, connect with fellow scholars, and exchange ideas in a relaxed, energizing environment.

Saturday, April 11, 2026 : Showcase of Minds: Research and Quiz Bowl Day

9:30am - 6:30pm

Research presentation & competition: Teams will deliver their original research projects before a panel of Harvard student researchers, demonstrating analytical depth, innovation, and presentation skills. Each team will compete in preliminary rounds to qualify for the final stage of the competition.

Students who choose not to submit a research paper for competition will have the opportunity to attend the research presentations or engage in interactive, track-specific academic activities designed to enrich their learning experience.

Award Ceremony for The Harvard Crimson Global Quiz Bowl: Celebrate the outstanding achievements of teams and individuals across the various academic categories in the Harvard Crimson Global Quiz Bowl. The ceremony honors excellence and intellectual curiosity demonstrated.

Quiz Bowl: Teams will engage in fast-paced, intellectually challenging preliminary rounds designed to test depth of knowledge and teamwork. Top-performing teams will advance to the final rounds of competition.

Sunday, April 12, 2026 : Research & Quiz Bowl Championships

9:30am - 3:00pm

Research Competition Finalists Presentation: Eight finalist teams from Math & Physics track and Chemistry & Biology track, and four from Economics & Business Track will deliver their culminating research presentations before a distinguished panel of faculty judges.

Quiz Bowl Finals: The brightest teams from each subject will advance to the final rounds of the quiz bowl.

Award Ceremony for Research & Quiz Bowls: Awards will honor the most outstanding research presentations and the top-performing Quiz Bowl teams for their scholarly distinction and collaborative spirit.

Closing Keynote: The event concludes with an inspiring keynote reflecting on innovation, leadership, and the pursuit of academic excellence

Your registration fee includes full access to all summit sessions, workshops, and competitions.

To help you plan your visit, please be aware that attendees are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of their own 
visa, transportation, accommodation, and meals.

Recognition

All participants will be awarded a certificate of Scholarly Engagement.
Participants will also receive their scores for Quiz Bowl and feedback on Research Competition.
