The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is the nation’s largest organization empowering Hispanic leaders in STEM. The SHPE chapter at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) furthers this mission through professional development, community outreach, and cultural celebration.
MIT SHPE organizes professional events with top companies, mentors local middle and high school students, and builds community through social events. While SHPE proudly celebrates Hispanic identity, we welcome everyone who supports our mission.
Building on this mission, the MIT SHPE Science and Engineering Competition invites students from all backgrounds to join this global event and take on exciting STEM challenges and innovations.
